POLICY AT A GLANCE

No account · no Internet permission · no ads · no analytics · no location · no camera · no upload · no free-text notes · backup disabled.

SECTION 01

Responsible entity and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Ridge Service Roadbook for Android, published for Nam Knights of America Appalachian Chapter Inc. It covers the installed offline app only. Effective date: August 4, 2026.

SECTION 02

Intended audience

The app is designed for adults preparing for community service, respectful remembrance, event participation, or optional motorcycle travel. It is not directed to children and does not create a youth program, membership relationship, or supervised-care service.

SECTION 03

Purpose and core functions

The app offers offline educational mileposts, preset preparation strips, a remembrance guide, ride-day safety boundaries, source notes, and local completion markers. It does not provide schedules, navigation, emergency response, fundraising, benefits, membership, professional advice, or official operational instructions.

SECTION 04

Data collected or transmitted

The app does not collect, transmit, sell, upload, or receive personal data. It has no server, network function, registration, contact form, advertising system, analytics service, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDK.

SECTION 05

On-device preferences

Completed milepost IDs, selected preparation strip IDs, and simple preset reflection choices may be stored in private app preferences on the device. These local selections are used only to restore the roadbook state.

SECTION 06

Sensitive records and free text

The app does not request names, contact details, precise location, service records, police records, military history, health information, incident reports, photographs, or free-text notes. Do not treat preset markers as records of attendance, fitness, eligibility, or wellbeing.

SECTION 07

Permissions

The release app requests no Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, phone, notification, Bluetooth, activity-recognition, or advertising permission. Android may expose system-level app-management controls that are outside the app.

SECTION 08

Accounts and account deletion

There is no login or account. Account deletion is therefore not applicable. Local selections can be cleared with Reset local roadbook or by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.

SECTION 09

Ads, analytics, and tracking

The app contains no ads, analytics, tracking pixels, attribution tools, remote configuration, push messaging, social SDKs, or third-party telemetry. It does not create an advertising identifier profile.

SECTION 10

Sharing, disclosure, and sale

Because the app does not receive or transmit user data, the publisher does not share, disclose, rent, or sell app data to third parties. Choices made outside the app are governed by the recipient and service used.

SECTION 11

External links and network behavior

Source addresses are displayed as plain educational citations. The app does not open them or make network requests. It does not send email, export files, share content, launch maps, or submit forms.

SECTION 12

Retention

Local selections remain until the user resets the roadbook, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. The publisher cannot view, retrieve, or retain those selections because they never leave the device.

SECTION 13

Deletion, backup, and transfer

Reset local roadbook deletes saved selections from app preferences. Android backup and device transfer are disabled for app data. Device or operating-system behavior outside the app may vary, so users may also clear storage before transferring or disposing of a device.

SECTION 14

Security

Local app preferences are protected by Android application sandboxing. No system can guarantee absolute security on a compromised, shared, or unlocked device. Use device access controls and reset the roadbook after shared use.

SECTION 15

Children and safeguarding

The app is for adults and does not support child profiles, messaging, attendance, images, precise location, or adult-to-child contact. Adults remain responsible for lawful supervision and appropriate safeguards at any real-world activity.

SECTION 16

Safety and professional limitations

Content is general education, not motorcycle training, mechanical inspection, navigation, medical care, mental-health support, legal advice, law-enforcement guidance, or emergency instruction. Follow law, venue rules, manufacturer guidance, trained professionals, and current official information. Contact local emergency services for urgent danger.

SECTION 17

Changes and user choices

A future app release may update this policy if app behavior changes. Review the effective date with each release. Users may decline any optional local marker, reset stored selections, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

SECTION 18

Privacy contact

Privacy questions may be sent by postal mail to: Nam Knights of America Appalachian Chapter Inc., 100 Holly Hill Rd, Epworth, GA 30541, United States.
